From the reading: The Ramen Shop That Broke the Internet
In 2022, a small ramen shop in Tokyo called Fuunji made a list that changed everything. The restaurant had only twelve seats and no reservation system. But a food writer from The New York Times included it in a guide to the world's best noodle dishes — and the queue outside did not stop for months. People flew from Seoul, from Sydney, and from São Paulo just to eat a bowl of noodles there. The owner, Tomita Shigemi, did not advertise the shop. He did not have a website. He just made the ramen.
