From the reading: The Athletes Who Never Stop Training
Eliud Kipchoge has been running competitively since he was a teenager in Eldoret, Kenya. By the time he broke the two-hour marathon barrier in Vienna in 2019, he had already won more major races than almost any runner in history. But what strikes coaches and sports scientists most is not the trophies — it is the consistency. Kipchoge has been training at high altitude for over two decades, rarely missing a session, rarely changing his routine. His weekly schedule has looked almost identical since 2003.
