From the reading: Lula's Comeback: Brazil Votes Again
In October 2022, Brazil held one of the closest elections in its history. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, a former president known to most as simply "Lula," faced off against the sitting president, Jair Bolsonaro. Millions of voters had to make up their minds between two very different visions for the country. In the end, Lula narrowly won, bringing back a leader many thought his political career had already written off.
