From the reading: The Woman Who Wakes Up Wide Awake at 4:30
Aimee Pugh Bernard, an immunology professor at the University of Colorado, is usually asleep by ten and wide awake by half past four. She walks her dog, survives an hour at the gym, and has put in ninety minutes of work before most of us have found the kettle. What baffles her friends is not the schedule but the energy: she never seems to pay for it. Her father and brother are built the same way, so in her family, it is the rest of us who look unusual.
