"I decided to speak," said Malala Yousafzai. "They wanted me to be quiet. I refused." A long time ago, Malala was a young girl in the Swat Valley in Pakistan. She loved school. She started every morning with her books. Her father, Ziauddin, noticed her determination early. "She was different," he said. "She asked questions. She never stopped."
