From the reading: How the World Takes a Holiday
In France, workers get 30 paid holiday days every year. In the United States, many workers get only 10. This difference is big — and it changes how people travel. French travellers often plan long trips in advance. They are going to visit one country for two or three weeks. American travellers often take shorter holidays. They will decide their destination at the last minute.
