Regular verbs

Add -ed to form the past. She applied for the job. He worked every day. Spelling: stop → stopped.

Irregular verbs

Some verbs change completely. She got the job. He went to the office. They made a plan.

Negative form

Use did not (didn't) + base form. She did not enjoy the interview. He didn't apply for it.

Question form

Use Did + subject + base form. Did she get the job? Did he write his CV? — Yes, he did.
