am / is / are

Use am with I. Use is with he/she/it. Use are with you/we/they. Example: She is the manager.

Negative form

Add not after am/is/are. Example: I am not late. He is not nervous. Short form: isn't / aren't.

Present simple

Use the base verb for I/you/we/they. Add -s for he/she/it. Example: She works here. I work here.

Questions

Use Do or Does to ask. Example: Do you have a CV? Does he speak English?
