Design Your Own Power Experiment

Pick one real relationship where you hold some authority — at work, in study, at home — and design a small experiment to test how you use it.

Your hypothesis

Complete: 'If I ___ then the people around me will ___.' Be specific — name the behaviour you will change and the result you predict.

The one variable

Name the single thing you will do differently. One behaviour only — listening longer, speaking last, asking before deciding.

List two things you will keep unchanged so you can isolate the effect of your one variable.

Name one concrete signal that will tell you something changed — not a feeling, a visible behaviour from someone else.

Predict the result

Mark where you expect the experiment to land on this spectrum after two weeks. Then mark where you secretly fear it might land instead.
